Solarthermalworld.org was founded in 2008 by the European Copper Institute (ECI), a Brussels-based association that represents the interests of global copper industry. On 1 January 2021, solrico assumed complete ownership of solarthermalworld.org. Together with long-time partner organisations such as ECI, the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling Programme, and the international Solar Payback project, solrico will keep offering solarthermalworld.org readers new insights on prospering technology innovations, tons of data about SHC market developments and in-depth analyses of the SHC industry.
