Fifth year of cooperation with IEA SHC

In November 2018 the Executive Committee of the IEA Solar Heating & Cooling Programme approved an extension of the cooperation between solarthermalworld.org / solrico and IEA SHC which started already in 2015. The idea of the cooperation is that selected findings from the work of the more than 400 researchers under the roof of IEA SHC are published in news articles on solarthermalworld.org over the year.

The global research network IEA SHC covers a wide range of topics from future storage tank concepts to new PV-Thermal solutions in HVAC systems or solar-building integrated technologies in historic buildings. In the last four years already around 150 news articles related to IEA SHC were published and are searchable on a subpage of solarthermalworld.org.
 
With a reach of 6,700 newsletter readers each month and 66,000 visitors over the past year, solarthermalworld.org has become one of the world’s go-to platforms for solar heating and cooling information. It offers more than 3,000 news articles about all aspects of the market. Its number of followers on Twitter has doubled to over 3,000 within three years. Solarthermalworld.org also has 8,800 fans on Facebook and 1,085 members on LinkedIn.

Solrico is the editor-in-chief of the news section of solarthermalworld.org since its start in 2008. The online platform celebrated its 10th anniversary in October 2018 with a new design and enhanced features.
