After her studies of environmental engineering she worked for 15 years as an editor for various trade magazines. She supports the international surveys for the “World Map of Solar Thermal Industry” and the “ISOL Index” and contributes news to solarthermalworld.org.

Jaideep N. Malaviya, a well known solar thermal expert, represents solrico in India. He looks back at more than 10 years of market research and journalism in the field of solar thermal technology. Dr. Lucio Mesquita works for governments, trade associations and private companies on topics such as solar thermal market analysis and policy, technology evaluation and development, and training. As a mechanical engineer, he has worked on the design and commissioning of more than 180 commercial solar thermal projects in several countries. Dr. Mesquita is also an expert in solar cooling, having written his PhD thesis on the topic at Queen’s University - Canada, and represented Canada as an expert in the International Energy Agency Solar Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Task 38. Dr. Mesquita is a former vice-chair of the Brazilian Solar Thermal Trade Association ABRAVA and former secretary of Solar Energy Society of Canada.
